We are hiring a full-time Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in the Golden center, Jeffco schools and Day Treatment Program. Guaranteed full time hours and mentorship from a very passionate Clinical Director with a quarter century of ABA experience that is heavily involved in advocacy at the state and national level.
Responsibilities
1. Assessment and Analysis
- Conduct Initial Assessments: Perform comprehensive assessments using a variety of tools to identify the strengths, needs, and preferences of clients.
- Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA): Conduct FBAs to determine the function of challenging behaviors and develop hypotheses regarding their occurrence.
- Data Collection and Analysis: Design and implement data collection systems, analyze data regularly, and make data-driven decisions.
2. Program Development and Implementation
- Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs): Develop, write, and implement individualized BIPs based on assessment data.
- Skill Acquisition Programs: Design and implement programs aimed at teaching new skills and increasing independence.
- Training and Supervision: Provide training and ongoing supervision to behavior technicians and other staff implementing behavior analytic services.
- Caregiver Training and Team Meetings: Schedule recurring caregiver training and team meetings on an interval basis determined by the of treatment accepted by the family. These meetings should be scheduled outside of regular therapy sessions whenever possible, except when the funder does not allow this. BCBAs are highly encouraged to use the 5-6p timeslot or the No Student Contact days whenever possible to allow BT/RBT staff to attend appropriate meetings and trainings with the caregivers.
3. Ethical and Professional Conduct
- Adhere to Ethical Guidelines: Follow the BACB Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts.
- Confidentiality: Maintain the confidentiality of client information and ensure that all records are secure.
- Cultural Competence: Respect cultural diversity and individual differences, adapting interventions to meet the unique needs of each client.
4. RBT Mentorship
- Onboarding/Training: in-session training on caseloads for RBTs who are new to the company/caseload, with modeling and narration of program implementation, using appropriate fading protocols. BIP training outside of session for applicable clients.
- Monitoring: Complete training checklists, fidelity checklists, 30-60-90 metrics. Update and maintain performance Action Trackers for all assigned RBTs. Report concerns to the Training Team in a timely manner.
- RBT Supervision: Complete competency assessments and renewals. Facilitate required IOA/overlap for caseload.
- Feedback: Provide both formal and informal feedback to RBTs, including but not limited to:
- RBT Performance Tracker steps according to workflow
- Formal clinical performance feedback (training checklists, fidelity checklists, 30-60-90 metrics)
- Informal clinical performance feedback (verbal or written)
- Monthly 1:1 meetings with caseload RBTs
- RBT fidelity forms (completed at least in part during every overlap based on observed criteria, with all metrics completed at least monthly)

Flexibility includes:

About YOU:
- A minimum of a Masters degree in a related field is required
- Professional certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in good standing
- Prior supervisory experience overseeing a team of behavior technicians
- Strong knowledge of ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) and clinical skills with field experience
