Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly and ensure they feel welcome and comfortable during breakfast hours
- Set up and maintain the breakfast buffet, including food preparation, replenishing items, and ensuring cleanliness
- Monitor food safety and hygiene standards, including temperature checks and proper food handling
- Clean and sanitize dining area tables, chairs, counters, and buffet stations throughout the morning
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment as needed
- Take inventory of food and supplies; notify supervisor when reordering is needed
- Handle guest inquiries and requests courteously and promptly
- Follow hotel policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines
- Assist with closing duties such as putting away food, cleaning the kitchen and breakfast area, and preparing for the next day
Qualifications:
- Previous customer service or food service experience preferred, but not required
- Friendly, outgoing personality with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Availability to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays as required
