We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Bulk Mailing & Customer Service Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Post Office bulk mailing procedures, strong Excel skills, and a proven track record of delivering excellent customer service.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both logistical coordination and interacting with customers in a professional, solution-oriented manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter, prepare and process bulk mailings in compliance with USPS regulations
- Use Excel to organize, track, and report on mailing data
- Liaise with the Post Office to ensure timely and accurate mail dispatch
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email with professionalism and care
- Troubleshoot issues related to mailings, orders, or deliveries
- Maintain accurate records of shipping and mailing activity
- Support internal teams with mailing-related projects and data management
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with Post Office bulk mailing processes and Business Customer Gateway
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including formulas, sorting, filtering, and formatting)
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and helpful attitude
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- List broker experience is preferable but not essential
Preferred Qualifications (Not Required):
- Experience with mail merge and data import/export in Excel
- Familiarity with postage software (e.g., BCC, Stamps.com, BCG)
- Previous experience in customer service, mailroom, administrative, or shipping environment
