We are seeking an experienced and safety-conscious Afterschool Support Staff to join our team! As the Afterschool Support Staff, you will be responsible for the safe operation of the school bus while adhering to a strict schedule and ensuring your passengers’ well-being. If you have an impeccable driving record, high safety standards, and enjoy being around children, we want to hear from you! Only a Class E license is required (standard Florida license).
Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced and safety-conscious Afterschool Support Staff to join our team! As the Afterschool Support Staff, you will be responsible for the safe operation of the school bus while adhering to a strict schedule and ensuring your passengers’ well-being. If you have an impeccable driving record, high safety standards, and enjoy being around children, we want to hear from you! Only a Class E license is required (standard Florida license).
Responsibilities
- Pick up and drop off students at designated pickup schools.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Conduct regular vehicle safety inspections and report any maintenance or repair issues promptly
- Assist students with boarding and exiting the bus in a safe manner
- Engage with students in a friendly and courteous manner
- Attend to the check out desk at the afterschool program.
- Class E Drivers License
- Clean driving record with no recent accidents or traffic citations
- Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
- Ability to pass a Level 2 Background Screen
- Certified/Able to Be Certified in First Aid and CPR
