Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to clients, ensuring their dignity and respect at all times.
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Monitor clients' health and well-being, reporting any changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Support clients with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by following proper hygiene and safety protocols.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality at all times.
- Document care provided and any significant observations in accordance with company policies.
Requirements
- Previous experience in caregiving or home care is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of memory care techniques is a plus.
- CPR certification is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed for client mobility assistance.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for helping others.
- Understanding of patient monitoring practices and long-term care principles.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as needed.
- A commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
