Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals with developmental disabilities, seniors, and those requiring long-term care. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting clients with daily living activities, ensuring their safety and comfort, and fostering a positive environment. This role is crucial in enhancing the quality of life for our clients through personalized care plans and attentive patient monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs.
- Provide patient care by assisting with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Monitor patients' conditions by observing their physical and emotional well-being.
- Assist individuals with developmental disabilities in achieving their personal goals and enhancing their independence.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Engage clients in social activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being.
- Document patient observations and report any changes in condition to healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with family members and other caregivers to ensure comprehensive support.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in caregiving or related fields is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of patient care techniques, including patient observation and monitoring.
- Familiarity with working with individuals with developmental disabilities or senior care is an asset.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and families.
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with caregiving duties, including lifting or transferring patients as needed.
- Compassionate nature with a strong desire to help others improve their quality of life.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as required.

Pay: $10.00 - $10.60 per hour
