Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Carrier Sales Representative to join our Carrier Sales Department. In this role, you will be responsible for managing freight shipments, maintaining strong carrier relationships, and ensuring timely resolution of operational issues. This position requires excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a strong drive to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with carriers to secure capacity and competitive rates.
- Manage shipments from pickup through delivery, ensuring on-time performance.
- Monitor load progress and proactively resolve issues as they arise.
- Negotiate rates with carriers and maximize profitability on each load.
- Coordinate with the operations team while maintaining individual accountability for shipments.
- Track and follow up on shipments until completion, including after regular business hours if needed.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in company systems.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in carrier sales, freight brokerage, or logistics preferred.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams.
- Proficiency in communication (verbal and written).
- High attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
Work Schedule
- Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST
- Flexibility required for limited after-hours or weekend follow-ups as needed.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
