Job Overview:
We are looking for a reliable and customer-oriented Cashier to join our team during the Yolo County Fair. The fair will be open August 13-17 We are looking for help during the entire duration of the fair, Wednesday - Sunday. As a Cashier, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while efficiently processing transactions. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a friendly demeanor.
Hours: fair hours
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers coming up to the counter
- Count back change
- Maintain a clean and organized area
- Ensure all transactions are completed in a timely manner
- Assist with other duties as needed, such as restocking shelves or assisting customers with questions
Requirements:
- Basic mathematical skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to handle transactions accurately and efficiently
- Strong communication abilities
***this is a five day job only available while the fair is in town

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- After school
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday

- Weekends as needed
