- Assists residents with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding).
- Leads residents in educational and recreational activities;
- Cook meals and prepare snacks for residents (depending on the shift);
- Assist residents with housekeeping activities (personal care, laundering and ironing of clothes);
- Provides written and verbal feedback necessary to plan, develop, implement, and further the advancement of everyone;
- Works closely with designated individuals to guide and support him/her in accomplishing behavioral, personal, vocational, educational, and independent living goals;
- Use the company vehicle to transport individuals as needed;
- Helps prepare individuals for meals, scheduled groups and activities, counseling session, group dinners, outings etc. on a weekly basis.
This position requires:
- High school diploma
- Current certification in CPR/AED/First Aid
- Driver’s license
- Medication Administration
- Behavior Management Training
- Successful completion of a criminal history and registry search investigation
