Key Duties and Requirements
Position Overview
The cashier and food prep role combines front-of-house service and kitchen support. Employees handle customer transactions, answer questions, and keep the checkout area tidy, while also preparing ingredients, assembling menu items, and maintaining food safety standards.
Main Responsibilities
· Greet and serve customers courteously
· Process orders and handle cash, card, and mobile payments using POS systems
· Prepare ingredients and assemble food according to recipes
· Maintain cleanliness at both counter and prep areas
· Monitor stock and assist with restocking
· Follow food safety and allergen protocols
· Assist with opening/closing, cleaning, and waste disposal
· Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service
Qualifications & Skills
· Good communication and teamwork
