We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for processing transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing.
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, products, and services to provide accurate information to customers.
- Upsell products and services by demonstrating features and benefits during customer interactions.
- Assist in merchandising efforts by organizing product displays and ensuring shelves are stocked appropriately.
- Supervise junior staff members as needed, providing guidance on best practices in customer service and sales techniques.
- Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Perform basic math calculations for transactions and ensure accuracy in cash handling.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
- Familiarity with cashiering duties, including cash handling and retail math skills.
- Experience with product demonstrations and upselling techniques is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with customers.

- Basic knowledge of grocery store operations is beneficial but not required.
