We are seeking a motivated and friendly Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support in a fast-paced retail environment. Your responsibilities will include handling transactions, assisting with product demonstrations, and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience for all customers. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for customer service.
Responsibilities
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process customer transactions.
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers, answering inquiries, and resolving issues promptly.
- Assist in merchandising products effectively to enhance store presentation and drive sales.
- Perform stocking duties to ensure shelves are well-organized and adequately filled.
- Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits.
- Engage in upselling techniques to promote additional products and services.
- Maintain accurate cash handling procedures throughout shifts, including balancing cash drawers.
- Supervise junior staff members when necessary, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Utilize retail math skills to assist with inventory management and sales reporting.
- Exhibit excellent phone etiquette when handling customer calls or inquiries.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing.
- Experience with POS systems is advantageous.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply as it enhances customer interaction capabilities.
- Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership potential within the team.

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
