Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food management and culinary arts, with experience in various kitchen environments, including fine dining and catering. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating exceptional dishes that delight our guests while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.
Responsibilities
- Develop and prepare innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
- Oversee kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
- Manage inventory control to ensure the availability of fresh ingredients while minimizing waste.
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to maintain high levels of performance and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all aspects of food service management.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen environment.
- Assist with catering events as needed, providing exceptional service to clients.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role, preferably in fine dining or catering environments.
- Strong knowledge of food management practices, including inventory control and food safety regulations.
- Excellent cooking skills with a passion for culinary arts and creativity in dish presentation.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate kitchen staff.
- Familiarity with bartending is a plus but not required.
- A culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred but not mandatory.
