Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Collect patient information and update medical records in the electronic health record system
- Assist with insurance verification and billing processes
- Provide administrative support to the chiropractor, including managing phone calls, emails, and correspondence
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and waiting room
- Assist with patient intake procedures, such as taking vitals and preparing patients for treatment
- Collaborate with the medical team to ensure smooth operations of the clinic
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a medical office or chiropractic setting is preferred
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and colleagues
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is a plus
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
