Our small team seeks an experienced Structural Engineering drafter with in the drafting of short-story commercial, industrial & residential structures. Construction materials used include Steel, Concrete & Timber. Ideal Candidate would have approximately 2-4 years of experience and understand how buildings are put together in the field. Candidate is expected to make some site visits in the support of both existing buildings being remodeled & new construction. Understanding building framing, structural connections & coordination in-office with the Engineering team is important. Understanding how to use office standards important.
Typical drawing package would include foundation plan, foundation details, floor framing plan, roof framing plan, wall sections, structural connection details, structural bracing details & miscellaneous structural details.
Software Used: AutoDesk AutoCAD LT

Soft Skills Preferred: Understanding of Building Construction, Spanish fluency
