The Nurse Practitioner is responsible for collaborating with physicians in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of medical care within a urogynecology clinic. Works closely with clinic staff, referring facilities and providers, and hospital departments in management of plan of care.
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Requires Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (Nurse Practitioner) license
- Prescriptive authority in the state of Louisiana is required or the application process to obtain must be submitted within 5 business days of hire
- Requires a minimum of one year of nurse practitioner experience, preferably in urology or women’s health.
Responsibilities of Clinic Nurse Practitioner include, but are not limited to:
- Conduct comprehensive histories and physical exams for patients with pelvic floor disorders.
- Collaborate with collaborating physician and the care team to care for patients pre- and post-operatively.
- Perform in-office procedures such as urodynamic studies as permitted by scope. Monitor patients for treatment side effects, complications, or recurrence.
- Provide education on diagnoses, treatment options, and symptom management.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation. Ensure care meets clinical protocols, regulatory guidelines, and evidence-based standards.

Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 4:30pm
Pay
$44.64 to $73.66 based on experience
