Innova Primary Care is a Primary Care Clinic with locations in Huntsville and Madison, AL. We offer full service advanced primary care including urgent acute care same day visits, Annual Wellness Visits, Gyn care and in office procedures. We prioritize customer service for our patients to receive an excellent healthcare experience. We are open Mon-Fri 7:30AM - 5:30 PM and Saturday 9 AM - 12 PM.
Seeking an experienced Medical Assistant, LPN or RN to serve our patient guests in the role of Clinical Assistant. Join our team who perform the day to day operations of clinic for our patients and team of Doctors and Nurse Practitioners.
Hours are 40 hours/week worked in 5 or 10 hours shifts. Full Time is working 4 days of 10 hour shifts/week.
The job description for this role is:
- Warmly greet guests and triage patient guests for their appointments (vital signs, collect brief medical history)
- Perform provider orders in clinic such as ECG, PFTs, injections/immunizations.
- Perform in office testing such as COVID testing, Flu testing, Rapid strep, rapid mono, urinalysis and urine pregnancy tests.
- Be available to assist providers in clinic with guest needs.
- Schedule patients for follow up appointments.
- Triage telehealth appointments.
- Help maintain a clean and safe environment for our guests.
- Rotate coverage of Saturday morning clinic.
Skills: Proficient in electronic medical records, computer skills such as Microsoft Word. Excellent communicator with appreciation for customer service skills. Good team player.

Annual Influenza vaccination required.
Hourly pay rate based on certification/license and years of experience.
