This is a part-time position with competitive compensation according to experience level and performance. Duties include:
- Interacting with patients, warmly greeting them as they arrive and checking them out as they leave.
- Receiving client payments.
- Scheduling for a multi-clinician office.
- Scanning and faxing paperwork.
- Communicating with and scheduling potential clients. Explaining pelvic floor therapy to new patients. We believe the front desk is the face of the clinic to patients and essential for the success of the clinic.
- Ability to assist with marketing efforts, social media, and community outreach.
- The position requires approximately 20 hours per week, including late afternoons to early evening (M-Th afternoons required).

Nashville Pelvic Health is an out-patient physical and occupational therapy clinic specializing in pelvic floor therapy. We believe in hour-long treatment sessions with a qualified pelvic floor therapist, manual therapy, and a customized treatment approach. Our patients have often seen multiple other doctors and physical therapists before arriving at our specialty clinic. We are focused on providing the best possible care for our patients and providing a valuable service to the Nashville community.
Principal job duties:
- To greet patients promptly and courtesy when they enter the clinic.
- To schedule patients over the phone or email.
- To handle the daily scheduling, filling cancellation spots, and scheduling follow-up appointments.
- To represent the clinic with patients, whether in person or on the phone.
- Handle and organize patient files and information.
- To stock and change linens in patient rooms as well as light cleaning around the clinic.
- Any other duties which may be required.
Qualifications and skills:
- Minimum of one year experience in customer service setting.
- Proficient in Apple pages, numbers, and Google Drive.
- A high-school diploma is required, an AA or Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
- Ability to interact in a professional and courteous manner with patients and coworkers at all times.
- Able to take patient payment, handle email communications, navigate Electronic Medical Records software, and handle a multi-line phone system.
- Ability to learn and communicate about pelvic floor therapy and the various diagnoses that are seen at the clinic.
- Handle paperwork and filing in an organized manner.
- Communicate clearly in person and on the phone.
- Abilities with social media (Instagram and Facebook) and design skills in Canva.
