I'm Shinwoo — a young college student trying to build something real.
Yes, business is business, and the ultimate goal is to make money — but I genuinely believe that if we bring the right people together, united by one mission — to serve our students and parents with honesty, care, and excellence — everything else will follow as a natural result.
Too many college admissions companies care only about the numbers — how many clients they can close, how many acceptances they can post on their website — and they completely lose sight of the quality of service and how families actually feel throughout the process.
That’s not us. With us, every student and every family matters. We don’t treat people like transactions — we treat them like human beings we’re proud to serve.
We're looking for someone who’s deeply passionate about college admissions and committed to delivering exceptional service to our students and families.
Because we're aiming to deliver an exceptional experience, I am going to be up front, I will have HIGH standards. Fast response times, dedicated support for our students, and an upbeat attitude to provide the best experience. If you see this simply as a job for the convenience of remote and good pay, there are many out there that fulfill that. This is NOT that type of role.
As a College Admissions Counselor, you’ll play a critical role in guiding students through one of the most transformative journeys of their lives. From building standout extracurriculars to writing essays that genuinely move admissions officers — you’ll be the expert students rely on.
Responsibilities
- Help students craft powerful, personal, and compelling college application essays that reflect their authentic voice.
- Guide students in developing Ivy League–level extracurricular activities that align with their passions and goals.
- Provide strategic course selection advising to ensure academic rigor and alignment with top college expectations.
- Support students throughout the entire admissions process with tailored 1:1 advising and thoughtful guidance.
- Utilize internal software tools to manage student progress, session notes, and outcomes effectively.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with students and parents throughout the engagement.
Experience
- At least 1 year of experience in college advising, high school counseling, or any student-facing role where you’ve helped students thrive.
- Let’s be clear: we care just as much about your energy and drive as we do your knowledge and expertise. If you bring passion, hustle, and a student-first mindset, we want you on our team.
- You should love helping students grow — academically, personally, and confidently.
- Bonus points if you’ve got sharp writing skills and know how to turn a good story into a standout essay.
Compensation and Growth Path:
$35/hour with the opportunity to earn up to $4,000 in annual performance-based bonuses.
We reward quality work, client care, and impact — not just hours clocked.
- Starting rate: $35/hr
- $40/hr after 1 year of strong, consistent performance.
- $45/hr after an additional 2 years of continued excellence and positive feedback.
- Further growth path dependent on the role you'd like to pursue.
- Up to $4,000/year in performance bonuses — We reward counselors who consistently deliver high-quality support and build strong relationships with the families we serve.
Why Join Us?
We’re not just another counseling company — we’re building a team of people who give a damn. If you’re driven, ambitious, and want to actually make an impact, this is where you belong.
We move fast, support each other, and take pride in helping students achieve things they never thought possible. You'll have room to grow, a voice that matters, and a front-row seat to some of the most rewarding work you’ll ever do.
If you want a job, there are plenty out there.
