Colleague is hiring a motivated Commercial Landscape- Business Development to grow our team in Garland, TX. This is a full-time opportunity with a company that prides itself on delivering top-quality landscaping solutions and building enduring client partnerships. We are looking for a business development expert with strong sales skills, a deep understanding of the landscaping industry, and the ability to generate new business while strengthening existing relationships.
Responsabilities:
- Hunt for new business by prospecting, qualifying, and closing accounts in residential and commercial markets.
- Build strong, long-term connections with decision-makers, including HOAs, property managers, and developers.
- Drive sales by leveraging networking, referrals, cold outreach, and expert local market insights.
- Deliver persuasive proposals and engaging presentations for diverse landscaping projects.
- Partner with internal teams to ensure competitive pricing and accurate project scopes.
- Stay on top of your pipeline, using CRM tools to monitor deals, progress, and revenue projections.
- Represent the company with professionalism at community, industry, and networking events.
- Hit—and surpass—sales goals on both a monthly and quarterly basis.
Skills:
- A proven track record in business development and relationship-based selling.
- Confidence in delivering persuasive presentations and negotiating effectively with clients.
- Knowledge of landscaping practices, maintenance cycles, and customer service excellence.
- A self-starter attitude—goal-driven, energetic, and always seeking growth opportunities.
- The ability to thrive independently while working in sync with company teams.
- Tech-savvy with CRM systems, estimating platforms, and MS Office.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
Education and experience:
- 5–6 years of outside sales experience with a preference for candidates from landscaping, construction, or property services.
- Proven success in client acquisition and revenue growth.
- High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred in business, horticulture, or a related discipline.
- Valid driver’s license required for travel to client sites.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
