Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Concrete Finisher to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete work and civil construction in general, demonstrating expertise in finishing techniques and a commitment to delivering high-quality results. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively on various construction projects.
Duties
- Prepare and level surfaces for concrete pouring by ensuring proper grading and compacting.
- Mix, pour, and spread concrete using hand tools and machinery.
- Finish surfaces of poured concrete by smoothing, shaping, and texturing according to specifications.
- Apply sealants, curing compounds, or other treatments as necessary for durability.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Perform heavy lifting as required during the mixing, pouring, and finishing processes.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to OSHA protocols.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:
- Proficiency in masonry techniques related to concrete work.
- Familiarity with concrete forming and layout.
- Mechanical knowledge for operating tools and equipment effectively.
- Experience in caulking and sealing joints in concrete structures.
- Skills in stamped concrete.
- Experience with curing and sealing concrete.
- Experience with excavating areas with heavy machinery.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
