Located in Nikiski, Alaska. The new plant is estimated to take over 5,000 CY of concrete with 30-50 foot cast-in-place concrete walls. This opportunity promises to be extremely challenging and rewarding with a great team experience for the right candidates. There is also an opportunity to stay on for long-term, year-round employment in RAS's vertical construction division after plant construction is complete.
Previous skilled construction labor, concrete, and/or carpentry experience is needed. Applicants must have a knack for thinking outside the box and an ability to thrive working in a fast-paced environment performing a variety of tasks that require physical stamina, deft hands and an eye for detail.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Helping to erect, level and install Insulated Concrete Formwork (ICF).
- Constructing building frameworks, including walls, floors, roofs and door frames to code.
- Reading, interpreting and following blueprints and building plans to meet client specifications.
- Installing structures and fixtures, such as windows, doors, trim and cabinets.
- Measuring, cutting or shaping wood, plastic and other materials.
- Working collaboratively in a team environment.
- Communicating effectively and working collaboratively with Project Manager(s), Site Supervisor, and other Construction Team Members.
- Performing thorough, accurate, and timely work at job site.
- Loading and unloading materials.
- Assisting tradespeople and construction team with concrete, carpentry, mechanical or other trade work as needed.
- Maintaining company tools and equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 1+ years of experience in a construction-related field. Some concrete experience is preferred.
- Willingness to work rotational shift (8 on/6 off) in Nikiski, Alaska for the duration of the project.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic skill/experience with tools and equipment, such as saws, nail guns, drills, compressors, etc.
- Possession of basic hand tools (the company will provide all other tools & equipment).
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to safely lift/carry heavy objects and perform sometimes strenuous physical labor, including climbing ladders/scaffolding.
- Willingness to work outdoors in the elements and work overtime when necessary.
- Must be able to adhere to all job-site safety requirements.
