Wikota Design & Construction is seeking an experienced working Construction Supervisor to oversee pipeline and gas plant construction projects across various locations. The role involves traveling to project sites, managing construction activities, ensuring safety compliance, and coordinating with teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Project Oversight: Supervise all construction activities at pipeline and gas plant sites, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and timelines.
- Team Management: Lead and coordinate crews, subcontractors, and vendors, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols, conduct regular site inspections, and ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
- Quality Control: Monitor work quality, verify materials meet standards, and address any issues promptly to maintain project integrity.
- Scheduling & Budgeting: Develop and manage project schedules, track progress, and control costs to meet budgetary goals.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates to project managers, documenting progress, challenges, and solutions.
- Travel: Travel to various project sites, adapting to different locations and working conditions as required.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction supervision, with at least 3 years in pipeline or gas plant projects.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project).
- Knowledge of pipeline and gas plant construction processes and safety regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Certifications: OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR, or other relevant certifications preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to work in outdoor environments, navigate construction sites, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Travel: Willingness to travel extensively and work at remote locations for extended periods.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 60 per week
