Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and mission-driven Custodial Supervisor to lead custodial operations on assigned service contracts. This role is responsible for supervising contract staff, ensuring service quality, managing supplies and labor hours, and maintaining compliance with all contract terms, safety standards, and organizational policies. As a working supervisor, this position may also assist with custodial tasks to support team performance and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise custodial teams and support individuals with disabilities in achieving quality and productivity standards. Ensure contract compliance with federal, state, and organizational requirements, including the AbilityOne program. Maintain positive relationships with contracting officers, job coaches, and internal stakeholders. Conduct quality assurance inspections, safety trainings, and regular performance reviews. Monitor and manage supply inventory, equipment maintenance, and staff scheduling. Accurately manage timecards and labor hours, ensuring alignment with budget and contract requirements. Perform custodial duties as needed to meet service expectations and support team effectiveness.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 2 years of custodial experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
