Advance is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in designated areas.
- Conduct industrial cleaning of facilities to uphold high standards of hygiene and sanitation.
- Maintain floor care through buffing and polishing to ensure surfaces are clean and presentable.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed, including minor repairs and upkeep.
- Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts to promote environmental sustainability.
- Provide porter services by transporting items between locations within the facility.
- Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify areas needing attention or repair.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all custodial tasks are completed efficiently.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning preferred.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques, including buffing and maintenance of various flooring types.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning practices and safety protocols.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- A proactive attitude towards maintaining a clean and safe environment for all users.
