Position: Customer Support Specialist

Our customer support specialists are a tremendously important part of our business. Day-to-day tasks will vary, but a Customer Support Specialist may be welcoming customers, vendors, partners and media with a warm and genuine smile, handling phone conversations, multi-tasking while chatting online or processing orders. Qualified applicants must enjoy learning, have a desire to grow, and have fun interacting with our teams, our Strider riders, and the public. They will have a history of outstanding customer service or proven success in sales. A willingness to perform various additional functions and to provide support for the team and mission is critical. The ideal candidates must be capable of handling multiple tasks with competing priorities under minimal supervision. Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Product education at all levels (Customers, Dealers, Distributors)
- Support Strider Dealers
- Interacting with warehouse and fulfillment team
- Answer inbound calls for entire office
- Electronic communication via email and online chat systems
- Enter and process orders for product digitally for customers and dealers
- Aid with monthly reporting and business support tasks for the business development team
- Assist with face-to-face customers in the lobby
Qualifications:
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, documentation, and record-keeping.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Basecamp).
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues to ensure customer satisfaction
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team in a collaborative environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, deadlines, and project requirements.

Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift, carry, and move items up to 30 lbs
- Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time using a phone, computer keyboard and monitor
Location and hours:
- This position is in Rapid City, SD
- Regular office hours are Mon-Thurs 7:30am-5 pm and Friday 8am-12pm
- Hours will need to be flexed to achieve a 40-hour week
- Some travel and occasional support of weekend events should be anticipated
Pay:
- $18-$25 per hour depending upon experience and up to 20% annual bonus eligibility.
