About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Cyberspace Readiness and Joint Training Specialist to support the Department of Defense (DoD) in all phases of cyberspace readiness and joint training operations. This key personnel role ensures mission readiness by analyzing requirements, developing and executing training plans, evaluating readiness reports, and providing expert recommendations to leadership.

The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in cyber operations, readiness assessments, and joint training processes, with the ability to propose risk mitigation strategies and support integrated mission requirements across cyber and critical domains.

Additional Responsibilities Include, but are not Limited To:

  • Support all phases of the Joint Training System (JTS), including:
  • Analyzing mission requirements
  • Developing training objectives and plans
  • Executing, observing, and evaluating training events
  • Conducting ongoing readiness assessment
  • Evaluate readiness reports to ensure they provide accurate, actionable information.
  • Compile readiness data into meaningful indicators to support decision-making and risk assessment.
  • Enable understanding of integrated cyber and mission requirements during periods of operational constraints.
  • Propose cyberspace courses of action to mitigate mission risk and enhance readiness.
  • Prepare, support, and participate in joint training meetings and develop after-action reports and lessons learned.
  • Track integrated actions to closure and escalate findings as necessary to support enterprise risk governance.
  • Utilize Government-provided automated tools to execute assigned tasks in compliance with established processes and timelines.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.

Experience Requirements:

  • 5+ years of relevant IT or Cybersecurity experience
  • Proven knowledge of cyberspace readiness, risk mitigation, and joint training processes.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess readiness data and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for interfacing with leadership, staff, and joint training stakeholders.

Certificate, License, and Registration Requirements:

  • DoD 8570 IAT Level III certification

Other Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Experience supporting Joint Training System (JTS) processes within a DoD environment.
  • Familiarity with enterprise risk management and integrated business risk governance.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct after-action reporting, lessons learned, and risk mitigation planning in cyber mission contexts.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with customer and fulfill all duties and responsibilities as listed in the contract.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite including, but not limited to: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.

Security Clearance Requirements:

Top Secret Clearance

Eligibility for IT-I Critical Sensitive / Tier 5 (T5)

US Citizenship Requirements:

This position supports a U.S. Government Contract whose terms require Sawdey Solution Services to staff it only with U.S. Citizens.
