Now Hiring: Dance Instructors – Ballet/Contemporary (Ages 5–7) & Commercial Jazz/Contemporary (Advanced Teens)
We are excited to expand our team and are currently hiring passionate and experienced Dance Instructors to join our vibrant studio community:
- Instructor for Ballet & Contemporary Level 1 (Ages 5–7)
Seeking a warm, engaging teacher who specializes in foundational ballet and contemporary technique for young dancers. Ideal candidates will have experience working with early childhood or beginning-level students and a nurturing, creative approach to instruction.
- Instructor for Commercial Jazz & Contemporary (Advanced Teens)
Seeking a dynamic, technically skilled instructor to lead high-energy commercial jazz and contemporary classes for advanced-level teen dancers. Candidates should have strong choreography experience and the ability to challenge and inspire pre-professional students.
General Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver age-appropriate lesson plans that emphasize proper technique, creativity, and progression
- Maintain a positive and supportive classroom culture that encourages student growth and confidence
- Provide individualized feedback and technical corrections
- Prepare students for performances, showcases, and community events
- Collaborate with fellow instructors and contribute to studio-wide programming
- Communicate student progress effectively with parents or guardians
- Assist with costume planning or basic sewing (preferred but not required)
- Support marketing efforts with event photos (optional but a plus)
Requirements:
- Proven teaching experience in the specified genres
- Strong background in either early childhood education (for the Level 1 role) or advanced-level dance/choreography (for the teen role)
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Passion for dance education and inspiring the next generation of artists
