JOB SUMMARY
The Dealer Business Development Representative is responsible for enhancing the performance of the KIOTI dealer network. In this supporting role, the candidate will be working with the new and current dealers and helping the Territory Sales Managers (TSMs) elevate their success in selling our products and services. You will be responsible for identifying performance gaps, conducting needs assessments, applying training tools/resources, providing feedback and coaching and ensuring growth development. The goal of the position is to forge strong relationships with our dealership clients and to drive sustainable financial growth for both the dealer network and KIOTI Tractor. Territory to be defined based upon candidate location. Seeking regional NE, SE, NW, SW and Canada
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF JOB
- Sales Training and Support to improve Dealers’ sales performance (Sales Tools)
- Key contact for New Dealers on Products, Marketing, Systems, and overall development within the trade area
- Developed open key markets
- Assist with the promotion of new Dealer in market to improve customer awareness.
- Train dealers on demonstrations and installation of loaders, mowers, and backhoes.
- Assist TSM’s to improve overall Dealer performance and customer awareness with the goal of improving market share.
- Review dealer practices and recommend/ guide areas of potential enhancement and profitability
- Field training on systems vital to Dealer success, such as CRM, ERP, LMS, KIOTI OneSource, product overviews.
- Field liaison between KIOTI Marketing and Dealer network to help Dealers with advertising (Co-op)
- Perform dealer analytic reports and effectively communicate dealer performance measurements supporting the Territory Sales Managers
- Maintain dealer CRM visit logs and customer feedback
- Maintain visit calendar, expense report, organized, self-motivated, and ability to work independently
- Continue and promote the Nurturing program in the dealer network.
- Provide support to Dealer Development and help advance dealer actions and new dealer applicants.
EDUCATIONAL AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Strong interpersonal skills-Able to support field and dealer calls
- Bachelor of Business or related field of study with at least 5 years of experience
- Experience working with Dealer Networks, preferably in the Tractor, Mower, or Construction Industry Segment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and analytical skills.
- Comfortable with public speaking and training.
- Problem-solving ability.
- Detailed, well-organized and the ability to multi-task.
- Experience in MS Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Use of Salesforce-CRM or similar customer relations software
- Travel: Willingness to travel 50% of the time to meet with current and prospective dealers across the U.S.A. and Canada
