Essential Functions
- Trim, deburr, and saw using a wide variety of hand and bench-mounted power tools.
- Work with ferrous and non-ferrous metals and alloys, plastics, and other synthetic materials.
- Use pneumatic/electric drills, sanders, grinders, saws, cutters, and other powered and non-powered hand tools. Also use calipers, steel rules, and dividers to produce and verify work.
- Clean work area and shop equipment.

Skills Required
- Must be able to use measuring instruments necessary to perform any of the above.
- Must be familiar with metal characteristics.
- Good hand-eye coordination and perceptual abilities.
- Ability to complete work accurately and be detail oriented.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work in a team as well as independently
Additional Qualifications: Applicants with knowledge in the following areas are encouraged to apply:
- Access to reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a drug test and background check.
- Minimum of one year experience working in manufacturing environment.
- Previous deburring experience or auto body skills.
- Ability to use precision measuring tools. (Calipers, Micrometer, etc.)
Physical Requirements:
Primarily manufacturing/assembly environment. Must be able to work in the following environmental conditions: noise, vibration, proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current. Must be able to bend and reach. Must have close visual acuity such as viewing a computer terminal, extensive reading, visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines, and/or assembly or fabrication parts at close distance to the eyes. Candidates must be able to communicate effectively. Candidate must be able to maneuver up to twenty pounds. Will be performing substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
Salary is commensurate with experience.
