The Dental Assistant / Treatment Plan Coordinator is a dual role that will support the dentist, and team, in providing quality patient care within the scope of state regulations. You will set-up and breakdown rooms, take and develop x-rays, take impressions, and provide the patient with post-op instructions and care. The Dental Assistant / Treatment Plan Coordinator will also answer and handle phone calls to include scheduling appointments, check in/out, discussing treatment and financial arrangments, handle the insurance billing process ensuring all claims are processed in a timely manner according to a variety of insurance guidelines and ensuring maximum reimbursement, among other duties as assigned.
To apply for this position, you must possess an active X-ray certification, and experienced in dental front office responsibilities (patient scheduling, handling dental office finances, full insurance billing process (claims submission, appeals, and denial management), oral surgery and taking impressions for prosthetics. Dentrix software experience is a plus! You must be able to work in a high volume, fast paced office while maintaining a positive and friendly attitude.
