Wynkoop Dentistry is seeking a fun, friendly, personable, detail-oriented, and proactive individual to join our dental practice as a Business Team Member & Marketing Coordinator.
This dual-role position involves traditional front office responsibilities—including patient scheduling, billing, and administrative support—alongside leading in-practice marketing efforts to grow and maintain our patient base. Key Responsibilities: Marketing Duties (Approx. 70%):
- Coordinate and execute internal and external marketing campaigns (email, social media, print)
- Manage practice social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, etc.), posting regularly and engaging with followers
- Create promotional materials and manage patient referral and review programs
- Update and maintain the practice website content with timely and relevant information
- Organize community outreach events, sponsorships, or partnerships to increase brand visibility
- Track marketing campaign effectiveness and provide reports and recommendations to the management team
Business Team Duties Include but are not limited to (Approx. 30%):
- Greet patients warmly and manage check-in and check-out processes
- Schedule and confirm appointments via phone, text, and email
- Verify insurance benefits and process claims
- Collect and post patient payments and maintain financial records
- Handle patient communications and maintain confidentiality of all patient records (HIPAA compliance)
- Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
- Previous experience in a dental or medical office strongly preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Working knowledge of dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental) is a plus
- Basic knowledge of marketing principles and social media platforms
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Skills:
- Experience using design tools (Canva, Adobe Spark, etc.)
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact)
- Photography and content creation skills for social media
