Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated, organized and experienced Dental Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient office management, maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations, and providing exceptional support to both staff and patients. Candidates must have excellent verbal skill. This role creates a welcoming environment while managing administrative tasks effectively. Qualified candidates must be team players! Previous front office dental experience is required.
Duties
- Supervise daily office operations, ensuring a smooth workflow and high-quality patient care.
- Well-versed in treatment coordination and dealing with insurance companies, including but not limited to: verifying patient's current eligibility and benefits, as well as following up on insurance claims that have been previously submitted.
- Manage patient scheduling and billing.
- Be responsible for Accounts Receivables.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Oversee financial management, including budgeting, expense tracking, and reporting.
- Provide training and support to staff on dental office management practices.
- Coordinate with dental providers to facilitate effective communication and patient care.
- Handle patient inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns promptly.
Experience
- Proven experience in a dental office setting is required, with a strong emphasis on office management and practice management skills.
- Experience with electronic health record systems is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills are necessary for effective communication with staff, patients, and external stakeholders.
