As the first point of contact for our patients, you’ll play a critical role in creating a welcoming and efficient environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients warmly and ensure an organized check-in and check-out process
- Manage a high volume of phone calls and patient inquiries with professionalism, addressing inquires and providing information about services offered
- Manage patient scheduling, including booking appointments and confirming upcoming visits.
- Handle dental coding and collections, ensuring accurate billing and payment processing.
- Maintain patient records with a high level of confidentiality
- Foster a calm, organized, and patient-first environment in the reception area
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure efficient patient flow and communication within the office.
Experience
- Previous experience in a front desk role within a dental or medical office is preferred.
- Strong track record of long-term positions in previous roles; we’re looking for someone who values stability and consistency in their career
- Familiarity with dental scheduling, coding, and collections is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using computerized systems for record management, particularly Softdent or similar software.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to maintain accurate patient records. ( By the way, the answer to question 3 is "molar")
- Strong work ethic and a team-oriented attitude
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
