We are looking for an Experienced Dermatology Medical Assistant. Candidate will prepare and stock exam rooms, make sterile surgery packs, schedule patients for surgical and cosmetic procedures, call patients with biopsy results and discuss diagnosis, call in/e-scribe prescriptions and refills,assist Dr. in MOHS surgery and excisions, assist with cosmetic procedures and lasers, assist with injectables. Room patient getting accurate history entering information into EMA.
Ideal candidate can scribe in EMR system (EMA), see patients for post-operative appointments with minimal supervision, ensure and organized and efficient work flow while providing the best healthcare experience to patients. Recording an accurate medical history in EMR. Maintain and sterilize equipment, and assist with administrative tasks as needed. Must have pleasant and "go getter" attitude.
