- Implements appropriate feeding modality, diet, or nutrition support (enteral, parenteral)
- Monitors patients’ response to the daily nutrient intake making appropriate recommendations for nutritional intervention when necessary
- Educates patients and their families on nutritional needs and/or diets
- Assists in the development of and participates in departmental and interdisciplinary quality improvement programs
- Coordinates with interdisciplinary team to implement up to date nutritional management, including but not limited to enteral/parenteral nutrition, dialysis management, weight management, wound management.
- Have experience with the nutrition care process and EMR
- Perform patient satisfaction rounds
- Excel at developing rapport with the medical team
- Work with the Corporate Dietitian to provide exemplary care and education to patients, staff, and community
- Bachelor’s Degree in Dietetics from an accredited college or university is required
- Registered and Licensed Dietitian in the State of Ohio.
- Two years of experience in clinical nutrition role preferred but not required.
