Job Title: Director of Ecommerce
Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 base, plus excellent benefits
Location: Leander, TX (onsite), 6 miles from NW Austin
As Director of Ecommerce, you will be responsible for overseeing and implementing our web development strategies, online user experience and interface, and our overall product development.
Responsibilities:
- Strategize, optimize, and manage website functionality, ensuring a seamless user experience
- Develop and execute B2B ecommerce strategies to drive online sales and achieve revenue targets
- Manage content creation, including images, renders, videos, and alternate visualization elements
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities for growth
- Manage product design and development
- Monitor website performance using analytics tools and make data-driven decisions to improve conversion rates
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, design, and IT to ensure alignment of ecommerce initiatives
- Manage inventory levels, product listings, pricing, and promotions on our website
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in e-commerce and digital marketing
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in the development and management of an ecommerce website
- Proficiency in digital marketing channels including SEM, SEO, Google Ads, social media advertising, etc
- Familiarity with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics
- Familiarity with ecommerce platforms like Magento, BigCommerce or Shopify.
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and SQL is preferred
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
- Must demonstrate an ownership mindset with strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and error-free results in all tasks
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
