Premier assisted living community is seeking a dynamic, caring, dedicated individual as our Director of Resident Care.
Director of Resident Care
Key Responsibilities include:
· Directly managing the healthcare of all residents within the community, including the dissemination and communication of information to families, residents and staff;
· Training and education of the care services staff on an ongoing basis both on an individual level and in-services as well as situational training/counsel;
· Supervision of care services staff;
· Scheduling of care services staff;
· Billing of care services provided;
· Filling medications for some residents;
· On call for questions from the care services staff;
· Continuous evaluation of processes and procedures regarding the care of our residents;
· Evaluations of new residents as well as ongoing evaluations of current residents to be sure that we are meeting their needs;
· Ensuring that all necessary paperwork is filled out for residents as well as continuous updating of paperwork;
· Ensuring that residents are treated with respect and dignity, recognizing individual needs and encouraging independence.
· Other tasks as delegated or assigned by the Executive Director, Regional Director and/or Owner.
The qualified candidate will possess:
· LPN, RN or BSN;
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in nursing as well as 2 years in a supervisory position;
· Excellent communication skills, both written and oral;
· Ability to work as a team;
· A dynamic, can-do attitude;
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
