Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursing Supervisor to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing nursing staff, ensuring high standards of student instruction and facilitating effective communication between instructors and growing the program. This position requires strong leadership skills, clinical expertise, and a commitment to fostering a positive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise teaching staff and coordinate student activities to ensure quality outcomes.
- Recruit clinical sites and supervise clinicals
- With vision and passion, work to grow the LPN program at our main and extension campuses.
- Ensure all Florida Board of Nursing requirements are met as well as accreditation paperwork and activities.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree (or Higher) in nursing
- a current and clear Florida RN license
- At least 5 years of nursing experience, two years of which must be full time experience as a RN, one year of experience must be in nursing home services with supervision of CNA's.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Ability to pass an ACHA background check as well as a clear drug screen.
