The Director of Student Support and Title IX provides strategic leadership, coordination, and oversight of the institution’s Campus Assessment, Response, and Evaluation (CARE) Team. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining systems to identify, assess, and manage concerns related to students who may pose a risk to themselves or others. This position ensures a proactive, evidence-based approach to behavioral intervention, working collaboratively with institutional stakeholders to promote student well-being, campus safety, and a supportive institutional climate.
The Director of Student Support and Title IX also oversees response to TTUHSC El Paso’s reports of sexual misconduct, discrimination, and harassment by investigating and adjudicating promptly, fairly, and thoroughly. This role is responsible for regular reporting, delivering training, conducting investigations, and fostering a campus culture of safety.
The team member should have strong interpersonal, communication, and crisis management skills, and demonstrated knowledge of behavioral intervention strategies, threat assessment models, and social work principles and processes.
