Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen by ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. Responsibilities
- Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, ensuring it is organized and free from clutter.
- Assist in the preparation of food items as needed, supporting cooks and kitchen staff during busy service periods.
- Properly store clean dishes and utensils in designated areas to ensure easy access for kitchen staff.
- Dispose of waste materials according to health and safety regulations.
- Help maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management.
- Follow all food handling safety guidelines to prevent contamination and ensure a safe working environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and culinary practices is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
