Dog Care Specialist / Kennel Assistant (Afternoon Shift)
Perkasie, PA | $12–$14/hour | 12–24 hrs/week
Best Paw Forward Dog Training is looking for a responsible, dog-loving team member to care for and engage with dogs in our training and daycare programs. This is a hands-on role that goes beyond basic kennel duties — perfect for someone who enjoys being active, outdoors, and around dogs of all shapes and sizes.
Shift:
Monday–Friday, 1:30 PM – 5:30 PM
Occasional weekends
What You’ll Do:
- Supervise dogs during play, potty breaks, rest, and structured activities
- Assist with pick-up routines
- Support enrichment and training sessions as needed
- Walk dogs and monitor behavior and well-being
- Clean and sanitize kennels and play areas
- Follow safety protocols and report concerns promptly
What We’re Looking For:
Prior experience with dogs (daycare, kennel, vet, shelter, or training)
Confident handling dogs of all breeds and temperaments
Reliable, punctual, and comfortable being on your feet outdoors
Positive attitude and strong attention to detail
Bonus Skills (Not Required):
- Interest in dog training or behavior
- Pet CPR/First Aid certified
- Availability for occasional weekend shifts

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
