We are hiring for our Dog Groomer position! The role involves cutting and styling dog hair according to owner requests and breed standards.
Job Responsibilities:
- Discussing grooming requests with customers and scheduling grooms
- Bathing, trimming nails, cleaning ears, brushing, blow-drying, clipping, shaving, and expressing anal glands.
- Maintaining grooming records and establishing a relationship with customers
- Keep grooming room clean and sanitized
- Be able to work with difficult or squirmy dogs, utilizing safe handling procedures at all times
- Document grooming-related information into appropriate computer systems and in reports to management
Qualifications:
- Grooming certification or other appropriate training or experience required.
- Must have portfolio of grooming experience, showing before and after photos, at time of interview
- Ability to clearly communicate grooming concerns and supply needs to pet owners and store management
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Be able to lift up to 50 pounds
