Donor Relations Assistant
Exempt/Non-Exempt Status: This position is a full time, non-exempt/hourly position.
Overview: This onsite position at the Sisters of St. Benedict monastery in Ferdinand, IN, is a vital part of the Mission Advancement team, being responsible for the processing of all daily gift deposits.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Process daily gifts and prepare deposit for business office.
- Process lockbox deposit and prepare for gift entry.
- Serve as database contact - responsible for conversion of new systems, orientation of new users and training. Also responsible for pinpointing computer problems and contacting IT, if necessary.
- Assist with gift entry, as needed.
- Process all online donations and credit card donations.
- Prepare data exchange lists and track exchange lists for acquisition.
- Assist with annual budget and expense reports.
- Coordinate special event correspondence, registrations, and data entry.
- Assist with membership programs and adding/updating donor database.
Knowledge Requirements: Requires strong written and verbal communication skills, the ability and knowledge for analysis and interpretation of procedures, policies, and practices. Experience with Blackbaud or similar CRM database is a plus.
Education/Experience: Requires advanced computer skills (proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word), a basic knowledge of technology, and basic accounting skills. A bachelor's degree or certification in a technical specialty is preferred, or equivalent experience of 18 months to 3 years may be substituted.
