As a Donut Maker, you will be responsible for preparing, baking, and decorating a variety of donuts while ensuring high standards of food safety and quality.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and mix dough according to established recipes and standards.
- Operate baking equipment and ovens to bake donuts to perfection.
- Decorate donuts with icing, sprinkles, and other toppings creatively.
- Package finished products for display and sale, ensuring they are visually appealing.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, restocking as necessary.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and customer demands.
Skills
- Proficient in food handling practices and knowledge of food safety standards.
- Experience in baking and pastry preparation is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with cake decorating techniques is a plus.
- Ability to use kitchen tools such as knives safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure product quality and presentation.
- Previous experience in catering or culinary environments is beneficial.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
