Spa Tech/Dog Bather needed for busy, fun, award-winning grooming and self-serve dog wash salon located in Grandview Heights. Doggie Day Spa is a very clean, upscale grooming salon with a focus on providing exceptional customer service. We are a very busy salon looking for the perfect person to fit our fun, outgoing team. We all work together to ensure the dogs look great, the salon is sparkling clean, and the environment is extremely welcoming and friendly!
This position also includes the flexibility to work at our customer service position if you have a great outgoing personality! If this also interests you, please feel free to include any questions you may have about working both positions!
Responsibilities and Duties
The job includes bathing/drying dogs, greeting customers, cleaning, and ensuring top notch customer service is being provided. We are also looking someone who has the ability to train and work with our front desk staff when needed.
PT position available! Daytime shifts (9/10:00a - 5:00p) Tuesdays, evening (X:00-8:00p) also available.
We are looking for applicants with weekend availability!
Qualifications and Skills
Must be a high-energy, proactive multi-tasker with an OUTGOING personality.
Experience in a grooming salon/dog-based business is a huge bonus but we are willing the train the right candidate without prior dog experience.
Pay:
$13.50 / hour after training + tips (tips = about $8.00+ / hour)
Overall, with hourly and tips, this is $20.00+ / hour
(Current team members average about $22-$25 / hour) plus listed benefits!
Promotion to shift supervisor possible.
