Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Program Director/Facilitator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in developing and managing programs that support individuals with developmental disabilities. This position requires strong supervisory skills, relationship management, and a commitment to fostering an inclusive environment. The Program Facilitator will work closely with staff, clients, and their families to ensure the effective delivery of services and support.
Responsibilities
- Supervise program staff and volunteers, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate programs tailored to the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Manage relationships with clients, families, and community partners to foster collaboration and support.
- Oversee budgeting processes related to program development and management, ensuring financial resources are utilized effectively.
- Maintain accurate administrative records related to program activities, participant progress, and compliance with regulations.
- Conduct training sessions for staff on best practices in social work and behavioral health to enhance service delivery.
- Monitor program outcomes and make necessary adjustments based on feedback and evaluation results.
- Complete assessments & instruct classes full time
Experience
- Proven experience in supervising teams and managing programs related to developmental disabilities or similar fields.
- Strong background in relationship management, demonstrating the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in program development and budgeting within a nonprofit or community service context is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with administrative tasks related to social work or behavioral health services is preferred.
- A degree in social work, psychology, or a related field is advantageous but not mandatory; relevant experience will be considered.
