About the role -
We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team as an e-Commerce Merchandiser. In this position, you will have a heavy focus on: managing our strategic retail pricing, e-commerce data implementation, website optimization, execution of vital promotions for web and print, writing copy, and completing long and short-term projects. The ideal candidate is incredibly detail oriented, manages time well, enjoys the cigar lifestyle, and relishes the opportunity to learn, grow, and contribute to the department’s needs. The Merchandising Generalist will also engage in forward-thinking, innovative activities to improve our business wherever possible.
What will you be responsible for?
- Strategize with fellow merchants on launching of online/print promotions, utilizing the tools at their disposal to ensure proper execution
- Input and make decisions concerning our strategic retail pricing, while maintaining smooth and consistent communication with stores
- Drive new sales opportunities with Marketing, fellow Merchants, and external vendors
- Create and maintain strong relationships with the other departments and entities
- Act as a resource to our Contact Center and Retail Stores for product related information and to help answer customer inquiries
- Balance short term, deadline-driven tasks against larger-scale projects
- Be a motivated self-starter who relishes the opportunity to be challenged every day
- Have strong skills in Microsoft Office to thrive in our data and analysis-rich business
- Assume additional responsibilities as required
