Strong computer literacy (especially for working in the EHS Safety Management System).
Document writing and general digital task execution.
Ability to work independently and manage tasks without close supervision.
The role is less focused on inspections and more on digital integration support.
Responsibilities:
- Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
o Conducting inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
o Investigating incidents and near-misses, documenting findings, and suggesting preventative measures.
o Participating in EHS training sessions for staff, ensuring understanding of best practices and compliance requirements.
o Maintaining accurate records of safety training, incident reports, and compliance documentation.
o Manages the ordering and inventory of medical, safety, and ERT related equipment/supplies for company locations.
o Assist in the assembly and delivery of ergonomic equipment to employees.
o Support EHS Lead in addressing corrective actions and implementing changes to site policies and plans.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- 1 years’ experience in an EHS position.
- Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
- Must be PC literate, knowledgeable of applicable software programs, such as Microsoft Office (Power Point, Word, Excel, etc.)
Preferred:
- 3 years' experience in EHS
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Computer skills in database maintenance
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour
