Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Quality Control Inspector to ensure compliance with industry standards, company procedures, and project specifications. This role involves inspecting electrical installations, components, and systems to verify quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of electrical codes, testing procedures, and documentation standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections of electrical wiring, panels, and components to ensure compliance with national and local electrical codes.
- Perform quality checks on electrical systems, including voltage testing, grounding verification, and continuity testing.
- Identify and report defects, deviations, or safety concerns and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to verify correct installation.
- Maintain detailed inspection reports, test records, and documentation of findings.
- Collaborate with electricians, engineers, and project managers to resolve quality-related issues.
- Ensure all electrical work meets OSHA, NEC, and company safety standards.
- Conduct audits and recommend process improvements to enhance overall quality control.
- Train and guide technicians on quality assurance procedures when necessary.
